Senior creative operator with 25 years across web design, digital marketing, film production, and creative direction. I build the infrastructure and tell the stories that make organizations work.
Sea Change is a 100-year-old church in La Jolla navigating a period of real growth. What began as a site rebuild became a fractional digital director engagement — web operations, communications, sermon archive restoration, and a custom ministry planning tool built in Next.js and Postgres that every staff ministry now uses for 2027 calendar planning. The scope now includes staff AI policy, giving analytics, and a spiritual health self-assessment tool in development.
Craig Glass has led men's transformation cohorts for 25 years. The creative partnership spans web architecture, content strategy, paid campaigns, and film — from the Peregrine Ministries era to the Noble Journey platform now in development. The first lead-gen campaign launched in 2024 with ad creative, landing page, and lead magnet built and managed by Nims Media. A 25-year anniversary documentary is currently in production.
"Brent has done a terrific job of artistry and communication."

David Garrison is a pioneer in the mission field to Muslim countries, and his research reaches a readership that spans continents. The engagement covered fresh branding and a new CMS website with eCommerce for digital products — identity, content architecture and direct sales handled as one build rather than three. The result is a platform the ministry runs itself, selling its own resources without an intermediary.

I run Nims Media — a solo operation across web design, digital marketing, film production, and creative direction. Twenty-five years of work for national brands, international ministries, local churches, and small and mid-sized businesses. The thread: making complex creative and digital infrastructure actually work — not just built, but sustainable, coherent, and aligned with what the organization actually needs.
I started in film. Narrative production trained me to think in arcs, audiences, and attention — which turns out to be useful when you're helping a church figure out why people aren't showing up, or helping a small business decide whether their site is selling anything or just existing. The medium changes; the underlying questions don't.
Much of what I do now is fractional digital direction — the work a full-time digital director would do, without the overhead. That means I'm not just executing tasks. I'm helping organizations understand their digital situation clearly, then building the infrastructure to match what they're actually trying to do. Sermon archive strategy. Vendor evaluation. Content pipelines that don't require a staff of five.
Ministry is a significant part of my practice — not all of it. I understand the vocabulary, the internal dynamics, the board structures, and the budget realities of faith-based organizations in ways generalist agencies don't. That depth transfers. Whether the client is a growing church, a men's ministry speaker, or a small business, the work is the same: build something that serves the organization for the next ten years, not just the next launch.
Start a conversation →"I began working with Brent in 2004 on an early entrepreneurial project, the Dingo Leash. Years later, when I was writing books for Gospel Light, he served as their web and technology partner — and over the years I continued to rely on him for my own projects, including my personal website, social media, and digital strategy.
More recently, I brought Brent on as the technology and AI partner for Sea Change Church. In just six months, his impact has been remarkable. He has helped us build personal discipleship apps, organize and categorize more than 500 sermons into a usable digital library, and transform years of content into eBooks, discipleship resources, and other practical tools.
But Brent's greatest contribution goes far beyond technology. He has helped our entire staff operate as a more synchronized team, aligned around a shared vision and moving in the same direction. Using AI, technology, and systems thinking, Brent has helped us turn vision into executable strategy — and, just as importantly, created tools that keep that vision on track.
I cannot recommend Brent more strongly as a strategic partner for any organization looking to align its people around a common vision and build the systems and tools necessary to accomplish it."
"For years, I have relied on Brent Nims as my Chief Creative Officer, Film Director, Videographer, Photographer, Movie Editor, Scriptwriter, Web and Print Designer and other significant roles.
